Portable Induction cook top,Has any one had experience with one?

Induction burners work in a very unconventional way. No heat is actually transferred from the the burner to the pot. Instead the burner uses electromagnetic charges to vibrate the metal particles in whichever pot you use. The vibration causes friction which causes heat. In order for an induction burner to work properly, the pot you use has to have enough iron content. I would keep the power at a medium setting, and mainly focus on the temperature. I hope this helps.
