How can I cook corn on the cob in a fire pit with no husks?

Wrapping them in foil and leaving them on the coals or on the grill works perfectly. Some butter, salt and pepper when they’re ready… good stuff.

This is not the best, but it will do in a pinch. Take 1 sheet of paper towel per cob, get wet and squeeze excess water out. Wrap the cob in the paper towel and then wrap really well in aluminum foil. Fresh corn really only needs to be cooked to the point where it is hot so I wouldn’t worry about the time, but don’t leave it too long or the moisture will all evaporate and the corn will burn.

when you have a good fire going move some of the red hot wood closer to the outside and rest the corn on top of it , use a BBQ tool to turn them until lightly roasted, not longer then 10 minutes.
